Kent Peterson & Chris Peterson
Screen Printing Department
Bio:
T-shirt printing started for the Peterson brothers in High School with Kent in graphics arts class. In 1986 Kent started screen printing T- shirts with a Vancouver graphic design company. Here he learned his trade and printed many challenging projects for the film and TV business, Vancouver Art Gallery, local businesses, Rock bands, First Nations artists and Vancouver's ever popular Skull Skates.
Chris joined Kent shortly after and they worked together for several shops in the lower mainland until Kent opened his own Screen printing shop in 2001. Together they have printed work for the Vancouver Canucks, Edzerza Gallery, Peter Lattimer Gallery, Skull Skates, Canada Line, YVR, The Vancouver Police department, Greenomics Corp, and many other local businesses.
Having learned a great deal over the years Kent and Chris recognized that they could make changes to their work habits and the products used in printing T- shirts that would have a significant impact for the environment. Avoiding harsh chemicals and switching to ecologically friendly products well before the recent focus of "Green" movement of today. By using California code products early on they not only saved the environment from many harsh chemicals, they enjoyed a healthy workplace.
Today Kent and Chris are proud to have joined forces with The Sasquatch Sign Co. and bring their many years of experience with them. Together with The Sasquatch Sign Co. they will continue to provide the best quality screen printing with an emphasis on responsible, sustainable and ecological practices for many years to come.
